Kaisla Laranta is a Barcelona-based visual artist and art therapist from Helsinki.
She finds inspiration capturing transient moments where the ordinary evokes a sense of enchantment and nostalgia. Kaisla's style is contemporary still life, characterized by its childlike and naive quality, where she explores vibrant colors and visually playful compositions. Through her work she delves into themes of joy, community, capitalism, folklore, queer perspective and girlhood, blending the mystical with the ordinary, to create dreamlike yet familiar narratives.
